WHAT IT IS Hiiii, Riley Rose here- I love the earth a lot, and I wanted this drop to actually feel like it gives something back to the planet instead of just taking from it. I couldn’t decide between supporting native tree planting or helping remove plastic from our oceans, so I’m letting you choose where your impact goes. With every product ordered, you’ll be able to direct a portion of the profit toward either The Ocean Cleanup or One Tree Planted, both of which support verified environmental work like removing ocean plastic or restoring forests through tree planting initiatives. I struggled with the idea of doing a clothing drop “for the earth” because fashion itself can be wasteful, so I wanted to be honest about that tension instead of ignoring it. To reduce our footprint, we source from a USA-based wholesaler that uses water-saving techniques in the dyeing process, saving 744 million liters. Their blanks are produced in plants powered by renewable energy and contain recycled plastics. All pieces are made-to-order by me, so we don’t overproduce or create unnecessary waste. The fabric used in the tree design is from repurposed scrap materials that would otherwise be headed to a landfill, giving leftover textiles a second life in each piece. Thanks for reading this.
